I saw this recipe for homemade sidewalk chalk over on Mom’s Marbles and immediately put it on our list of things to try this summer.  Ava loves being outside, but I sometimes have a hard time finding things for her to do out there (other than go to the park, of course!).  I’m sure she’s absolutely going to love this and I can’t wait to give it a try!

• Put 1/4 cup water into a plastic cup.
• Add 1/4 cup cornstarch and
• several drops of food coloring – any colors you like.
• Stir – then paint with brushes!

Sounds like a very easy way to have lots of fun!!
