Please tell me I’m not the only one who, by the end of the day,  would rather have their eyes poked out and eaten by rabid raccoons than hear the word “MOM!” one more time.  Just sayin’.

I remember when Ava first learned to say Mama.  It was like 6 months after she’d learned to say Dada, so it had been a long time coming!  I remember thinking that I would never get tired of hearing her say my name.

Fast forward to now…

Ava: Mom!
Me: What?
Ava: Mom!
Me: What?
Ava: MOM!
Me: WHAT?!?!
Ava: Ummmmmm….

I don’t get it.  I just don’t get it.  We have this same conversation at least 10 times a day and I am not exaggerating!!  I know someday I’ll be wishing she would talk to me instead of playing a PS3 or something, but right now I can’t handle it for 12 hours in a row, day after day!
